The entire Mitre is made of soft metal. On the inside it is lined with beige lame fabric and at the point of contact with the head, with a brown leather band. The Mitre is decorated with elaborate brass embossed plates. All around is a band with vine decoration, which at the top has brass anthemia. Four vertical bands are decorated with spirals and end at the top in a convex plate with a representation of the Four Evangelists and their symbols. Around these plates is wire decoration of flowering branches, and the petals of the flowers are made of semi-precious stones of various colours. Semi-precious stones also decorate the vertical and horizontal axes, framing the sculpted bands. The Mitre is crowned by a brass cross decorated on each side with semi-precious white stones.
