Ottoman officer’s sword, with scabbard and leather tuft. The blade of the sword is iron, subtly concave, single-edged, with a concave line running on each side and ending in a point. On its two sides it has a lightly embossed decoration with spirals, a crescent with a star, banners and shields. The grip is made of dark brown horn with a lattice decoration. The guard is brass and is also decorated with a radiant crescent, the imperial coat of arms, banners and swords. Attached to the hilt is a leather tuft with ribbon and tassel.
