The tsarouchia are handmade and made of thick leather. The soles are brown and the upper part is painted black. They have spikes on the heels and large, pompons of black wool thread cover the upturned toes. They have no opening and around the ankle they have a band of thick black patent leather with white decorative stitching. The right tsarouchi has two holes in the sole, to be mounted on the doll’s base.
