This women’s kontoula from Western Macedonia is sleeveless. Made of black-blue thick woven material, it is all hand stitched. The top is fitted, with a large opening at the chest to reveal the shirt. The lower part, while in front is slightly flared, at the back it is not very wide with large pleats, which are formed by 15 additional gussets. All its finishes have blue and red piping of knitted wool thread. The small upright collar and the neckline are decorated with blue and red piping, which form geometric patterns. On the right breast there is a diagonal pocket and there are two vertical pockets right and left on the front panels of the kontoula.
