Medal of the Macedonian Fighter Vasiliios Papakostas. It is round in shape with a suspension ring, a silk striped ribbon, with bands of yellow in the centre, two black bands on the sides and light blue on either side and an olive branch. The obverse bears an embossed image of Alexander the Great and the circular inscription “MACEDONIAN STRUGGLE 1903-1909”. The back is decorated in the centre with the phoenix rising and the inscription “HELLENIC REPUBLIC 1931” on the periphery. On its base are the letters PK (Panagiotis Kelaidis) indicating the name of the engraver.
