The upper outer part is engraved with the Turkish imperial monogram, two words in old Arabic script and the marking ILOGSL. The particular rifle belonged to the Macedonian Fighter Dimitrios Stergiou from Aetos, Florina, who acted - according to the donor - under the orders of Dimitrios Dalipis and was beheaded in Aetos along with his father Elias by Bulgarian komitadjis.
