Military uniform of Athanasiou Souliotis-Nikolaidis, which consists of a French-style cap, summer jacket and khaki trousers. The cap is made of thin cotton material, khaki in colour and has a loose lining of light blue cotton worsted fabric. Its shape is kept oval thanks to an invisible wire. Inside, it has hard tape all around, its small brim is reinforced with cardboard, while it is finished with thin brown leather trim. Its peripheral surface on the exterior is decorated with five parallel horizontal rows of cord, where at the height of the forehead, there is a small inset circle, whose centre is embroidered with blue cotton thread. At the point of the ears there are two small metal buttons, which hold two fabric bands overlapping each other. Its top part is decorated with an intricate large cross of decorative cord. The jacket is made of thin khaki Shetland wool cloth, slightly ribbed in the weave of its good side, and fastens with five metallic yellow buttons, with no crest or other insignia. It has two outside flap pockets on the chest, which close with a metal yellow button, as well as two larger similar pockets at the height of the hips. The back is heavily waisted, with simple stitching and slit at the bottom. The collar is standing, single lapel and at both ends it has a red patch with a yellow metal button. The epaulettes are of gold woven fabric, with a red stripe down the middle. They bear two gold-embroidered stars and at their end, a yellow metal button. The sleeves have stitched cuffs, and each has two. The trousers are made of khaki Shetland wool fabric. At the height of the shin they are narrow and have an opening that fastens with a string, passing through a series of 26 small holes facing each other, with buttonhole stitching. At the front they have an opening which fastens with 6 buttons. It also has right and left slit pockets and a small slit pocket on the front right upper side. In the back on the right side it has an outside pocket and two small bands at the waist, with a metal ring, to easily adjust the circumference of the waist. It has a stitched belt, which has a slit in the middle and a white cotton lining with thin stripes.
