Mixed media, collage and oil on canvas work of art by Nektarios Pachiadakis. Dimensions: 91 x 76 cm. The work received the 2nd prize in the Art Competition in the context of the events of the AUTH for the celebration of 200 years since the Revolution of ‘21 and was hosted at the exhibition “Impacts of the Revolution of 1821 in the art of today”. The aim of the project is to connect, from a contemporary perspective, works and documents (newspapers, documents) related to the Revolution of 1821. The project was rendered in colors that express passion and revolution (red), as well as fragmented, cut-out shapes that are interwoven like shards. The choice of colors expresses the intensity of the scene with the body in a state of despair and the fighter's hand crushed by the rubble.
