Brass bust representing the face of Penelope Delta in moments of introspection, as suggested by the half-closed eyes and slightly pursed eyebrows and lips. The bust was made in 1927 by the sculptor Athanasios Apartis, when Penelope Delta was 50 years old. It was donated to the Museum by her granddaughter Argini Goutou, daughter of Virginia Zanna (nee Delta), and Alexandros Zannas.
