The certificate dated 25 March 1914 is glued on a plate. It is a medal award certificate of the Greco-Turkish and Greco-Bulgarian War with two medals to Ioannis Vardoulakis, from Molaoi, Municipality of Asopos. Before being glued to the plate, the certificate had been cut up the meander of the text frame. On the left is the crowned medal of the Greco-Turkish War and the first medal ribbon has two crossed swords, indicating that the honoured I. Vardoulakis had been injured in the Battle of Ioannina. The rest of the decorations on the ribbon bear the names (from top to bottom): “AETORACHI, GIANNITSA, SARANTAPORON, ELASSON, IOANNINA”. On the right is the Greco-Bulgarian War medal, with its ribbon very worn, and on which there are the names of the battles “KILKIS - LACHANA, KRESNA - TSOUMAGIA”.
