This brass medal is round in shape and on the obverse it bears the bust of Byzantine Emperor Basil II the Bulgar-Slayer and the words “BASIL II 976-1025”. The reverse has the bust of King Constantine I and the circular inscription “CONSTANTINE KING OF THE GREEKS 1913”. The horizontal metal suspension bar passes through the ring. The ribbon is not the original one (silk with a green line in the middle and white lines at the edges on a light blue background), but synthetic blue and white. On the ribbon are the words “KILKIS-LACHANA”.
