Plaque with the coat of arms of the province of Frosinone, Italy. Inside the central shield is a lion standing on two legs and holding a sword, with vegetal motifs underneath. The shield is surmounted by a crown with two branches. Underneath is a ribbon with the Latin inscription “FEROCIOR AD BELLANDUM” (The fiercest in battle). Another ribbon has been added above with the Italian inscription “AMMINISTRAZIONE PROVINCIALE FROSINONE” (Provincial Administration of Frosinone). The plaque is lined with velvet. It was donated to the Lykeion ton Ellinidon of Naoussa as a keepsake.
