Red woollen apron of the women’s traditional costume of Kavakli, Thrace (Eastern Rumelia region, present-day Bulgaria). The vertical axis is embellished with woven black, yellow, green, blue and red geometric motifs. Two bands with black and yellow decoration have been woven at the bottom. Black, yellow, green and red geometric decoration has been added between them. The two long sides have appliqued black triangles. The end of the apron has a yellow and black fringe. Two laces in red and black colours have been added to the top, so the apron can be tied around the waist.
