Tarabulo – Strap made of taffeta, part of the traditional Janissary costume from the custom “Janissaries and Boules” of Naoussa. It is tied elaborately on the Janissary’s mask by a specialised craftsman. The fabric has a brown, white and red plaid pattern. Its ends have fringes with yellow and red tassels.
