Pisli – Men’s sleeved Janissary vest from the custom “Janissaries and Boules” of Naoussa. The sleeves are sewn on the shoulder blades without any seams in the underarms or along the entire inside of the arm. Their ends are scalloped. Around the round neckline, the vertical front opening, the waist, the armholes and on the sides of the front, it is embellished with black cord. The front side has embroidery filling the triangle of the two lower corners on the opening. An embroidered triangle with motifs on the inside has been added on the low back. The sleeves are surrounded by rows of black cord. Their surface is covered with embroidered vegetal motifs. On the inside, the vest is lined with white fabric with vertical blue stripes. The sleeves are lined with crimson fabric.
