Leather belt with jewellery (zostra), part of the traditional Janissary costume from the custom “Janissaries and Boules” of Naoussa. Chains with coins hang from the belt. Nine of the chains are linked to a round ornament in the shape of a rosette with relief decoration and a red stone in the centre. Originally, the chains were attached to the belt as the Janissary was being dressed. Today, they are already attached on a belt for convenience.
