Women’s blue footwear known as papalaki, part of the traditional costume of Metaxades, Thrace. It consists of three panels of fabric, the two panels of the sole and the main one that surrounds the foot. The opening is decorated all around with wavy pink and white lines, as well as green and red threads. The same motif is also on the section close to the sole. The entire surface is decorated with appliqued sequins.
