Women’s burgundy footwear known as papalaki, part of the traditional costume of Metaxades, Thrace. It consists of three panels of fabric, the two panels of the sole and the main one that surrounds the foot. The opening is decorated all around with a wavy pink line, as well as green, yellow, white and blue threads. The same wavy pink line is also sewn at the bottom. The entire surface is decorated with appliqued sequins.
