Pisli – Men’s sleeved Janissary vest from the custom “Janissaries and Boules” of Naoussa. The sleeves are sewn on the shoulder blades without any seams in the underarms or along the entire inside of the arm. Their ends are scalloped. The round neckline, the vertical front opening and the waist are trimmed with black cord all around. The chest is embellished with stylised embroidery. The sleeves are surrounded by two rows of black cord. On the front side, which falls toward the back when the sleeves are off, the upper part of the sleeves is embroidered with a stylised motif, while the lower part is embellished with vegetal motifs. On the inside, the sleeves have red lining.
