Women’s headband of the traditional costume of Corfu. It consists of four large braids made of black satin (mezulia) that are joined together and create a circular shape. Red silk ribbons, the staftades, are tied on the braids. A white headscarf with lace is secured in the middle of the mezulia. The front of the mezulia have flowers attached to them.
