Women’s rectangular beige silk-and-cotton pleated apron. The main apron is gathered, creating eleven narrow pleats below the waistband. It is wide and reaches just below the knee. Its three ends are bordered by an embroidered gold band (sewn with silk thread) embellished with geometric decoration that consists of zig-zag lines (gold cord). The surface of the apron is covered by richly embroidered vegetal motifs in light brown, orange and white shades. The apron’s waistband has the shape of a flattened trapezoid and is made of black felt. It is bordered all around by a narrow silk gold embroidered band (gold cord). In the right corner of its upper side, there is a sewn loop of yellow cord, and on its left side a corresponding orange cotton cord, which passes through the former, helping to tie the apron around the woman’s waist. On the back, the apron is lined with a rectangular piece of cotton fabric in dark red, which is richly embellished with an embroidered vegetal motif in light red, turquoise and white shades.
