Sleeveless short vest (chest-length). Most likely made of crimson velvet, which is entirely covered with gold and silver wire embroidery. The collar, the front opening, the waist and the armholes are trimmed with rows of silver cord. The surface of the chest is adorned with leaf-shaped motifs and braids, with four gold-embroidered bands between them. On the back, the decoration consists of rosettes, vegetal and geometric motifs and asterisks. The composition is divided into three parts by silver cords. At the front, on the chest, there are decorative elements reminiscent of rose buds. The inside is lined with red satin. Part of a formal/festive men’s costume from the Western Balkans.
