Women’s rectangular leather belt with attached bronze buckle. 1) On the outside, the belt is lined with top-quality red velvet. It is richly embroidered with a gold vegetal garland, which covers its entire surface, consisting of shiny gold thread, sequins and silver foiling. Around their perimeter, the ends of the belt are bordered by a wide double band embroidered with gold (gold cord). Its left section has a small leather strap that fastens on a small buckle also on the left side. 2) The buckle is a three-part, leaf-shaped one, consisting of three sections: the omphalos (central section) and the two lateral sections. The omphalos is firmly attached to the left section by means of a hidden link, while the right section fastens on the other two with a hook placed in a metal loop on the back. The buckle has two additional narrow copper bars on the back for the ends of the belt to go through, allowing the buckle to be held in place in the middle. On the outside, the three sections of the piece are raised (embossed) in the centre, creating three respective cavities (dents) on the back. They are embellished with an elaborate filigree vegetal motif, which covers the entire surface of the buckle like lace, consisting of rosettes that form flowers with four overlapping rows of petals. Red and green glass stones masterfully complete the decoration on the outside.
