Two-part buckle of a traditional costume from the region of Macedonia. The central round elevated section is moulded and embellished with embossed decoration with a rosette and a red stone in its centre. It is crowned by an embossed palmette. The two paisley-shaped surfaces feature embossed decorations. In the centre, there is a rosette with a green stone in its centre, framed by a ring with vegetal motifs and a granulated band. The rest of the surface is covered by an architectural design that resembles a mosque. The decoration is framed by two bands, a granulated one and one with astragals.
