Women’s rectangular leather belt with attached bronze buckle. 1) The belt is made with top-quality black leather. On its right-hand side, the belt has a small leather strap, which fastens to a small buckle on the left-hand side, after first going through a leather loop attached to the left end of the belt. Right next to the buckle (to the left of it), the belt has a round metallic decorative piece (stud) attached to it. 2) The buckle is a two-part, leaf-shaped one, consisting of two separate lateral sections. The two aforementioned sections are fastened together with a hook, which goes in a metal loop at the front. The buckle has two additional narrow copper bars on the back for the ends of the belt to go through, allowing the buckle to be held in place in the middle. Outside, the two sections of the piece are raised (embossed) in the centre and create two respective cavities (dents) on the back. They feature ornate, vegetal decoration carved in relief, which covers the entire surface of the buckle, consisting of two rosettes that form two flowers respectively, each with nine petals.
