Children’s handmade oviform dark red leather shoe (tsaruchi). It consists of four parts: the sole, the two side sections and the “toe” on the end. The aforementioned end is covered by a large colourful woollen tuft in red, black, white and blue shades. The shoe is embellished with an elaborate woven yellow geometric motif that covers its entire surface. In addition, the central sections of its two sides and upper surface are decorated with three vertical woven black bands, while the shoe’s central opening is bordered by a woven yellow decorative garland consisting of a series of triangular patterns.
