Wooden spoon from Cappadocia. The concave part and the handle feature painted geometric decorations in red and black. These wooden spoons, the “tahtadionas”, were, and still are, used by dancers as percussion instruments in Antikristoi dances from Cappadocia. They were made in Konya and Sille.
