Wooden spoon from Cappadocia. The concave part and the handle feature painted floral decorations in red and green. The convex part also features a vegetal design in green. These wooden spoons, the “tahtadionas”, were, and still are, used as percussion instruments in Antikristoi dances from Cappadocia. They were made in Konya and Sille.
