Black overcoat of the women’s traditional costume of Episkopi, Imathia. The collar and the chest opening are trimmed with a thin red stripe, which leads to a red cord that ties at the front. Both sides of the chest opening are richly embellished with red, orange, blue, brown and white decorative embroidery. At the lower end of this embroidered section, there is red embroidery that looks like a tassel. The sides below the waist, as well as the lower part of the back are also embellished with a red fabric band. The sleeves are short and their edges are folded outwards, revealing the red lining with yellow stripes. At the bottom, white stitching starts from the middle and goes all around the hem to the red bands. On the sides, they create a geometric pattern. Low on the back, the hem is richly embellished with gold, orange, red and white embroidery between the two red bands, which extends upwards.
