Cretan knife. The scabbard is made of metal and has raised decorations on its surface. The middle is lined with red velvet. The top has a small suspension chain attached to it. There is a metallic border around the perimeter. The handle is made of metal and shaped like a calyx with decorative motifs. Knives were an integral part of the Cretan costume of men.
