White cotton shirt of the traditional Sarakatsana costume from Thrace. On both sides of the chest opening and on the collar, there are appliqued bands with embroidered geometric decoration in black, white and red. The sleeves are appliqued and decorated with vertical and circular patterns. The vertical axis has geometric motifs embroidered with gold and black thread, surrounded by embroidered black triangles. The circular decoration consists of a band with embroidered geometric motifs in black, gold, green and red, and ends in gold embroidery. Sewn on the ends of the sleeves are additional pieces of black woollen fabric with twisted cord, which is interrupted in places by similarly twisted gold cord. The hem is trimmed with embroidered yellow edging, which creates tall triangles on the seams of the fabric panels. Inside the triangles there is decorative embroidery with geometric motifs. White decorative lace with geometric motifs has been sewn on the end of the shirt.
