Shirt of the traditional Karaguna costume. The neckline is round and the chest opening ends in a sharp point. The linen sleeves are perpendicular to the torso; the Karaguna women kept them separately and changed them depending on the occasion. The shoulders are covered by appliqued dark crimson fabric with orange trim that is embellished with decorative motifs of rhombuses and straight lines. Towards the ends of the sleeves, the crimson fabric has an extension, which is covered by gold embroidery, with blue and orange trim as edging. The edges of the sleeves are decorated with black braids (multiweaved silk threads for the original ones) and geometric motifs in two bands of purple braids. The edges of the sleeves have black, purple, blue and blue-green tassels. The hemline is also decorated with black braids and two bands of purple geometric motifs, with black tassels on the edge of the chemise.
