Sayias – Overcoat of the women’s traditional costume from Cappadocia. It consists of seven panels of fabric in red and blue. The sleeves are sewn perpendicularly. The seams on the sleeves, high on the front panels and on the back panels, are embellished with gold galloon trim. The inner front side has white galloon trim with a cut zig-zag pattern. Its print is also visible on the outside. In addition, a triangular piece of white fabric has been sewn on the inside, with the white seams visible on the outside. The sayias is held closed at the front of the chest with four silver buttons.
