Orange woollen apron of the women’s traditional costume of Kavakli, Thrace (Eastern Rumelia region, present-day Bulgaria). Its surface is embellished with embroidered black, yellow, green, blue and white vegetal motifs. Two bands in black and white have been embroidered at the bottom. In addition, black, yellow, green, blue and white embroidered vegetal decoration has been added between them. There is orange trim on the two long sides. The end of the apron has an orange, blue, yellow, green and white fringe. Two laces in yellow and brown colours have been added to the top, so the apron can be tied around the waist.
