Orange woollen apron of the women’s traditional costume of Kavakli, Thrace (Eastern Rumelia region, present-day Bulgaria). The vertical axis is embellished with embroidered black, yellow, green and white vegetal decoration. Two black dotted lines have been embroidered at the bottom. In addition, black, yellow and white embroidered vegetal motifs have been added between them. There is green trim on the two long sides. The end of the apron has a green fringe. Two laces in pink and blue colours have been added to the top, so the apron can be tied around the waist.
