Red woollen apron of the women’s traditional costume of Kavakli, Thrace (Eastern Rumelia region, present-day Bulgaria). The vertical axis is embellished with embroidered black, yellow, green, blue and white vegetal motifs. Two bands with black and yellow geometric decoration have been embroidered at the bottom. Embroidery with black, yellow, green, blue and white vegetal and geometric decoration has been added between them. There is black embroidered trim on the two long sides. The end of the apron has a red and black fringe. Two laces in red and green colours have been added to the top, so the apron can be tied around the waist.
