Orange woollen apron of the women’s traditional costume of Kavakli, Thrace (Eastern Rumelia region, present-day Bulgaria). The vertical axis is embellished with embroidered black, yellow, green, blue and white geometric motifs. Similar motifs in the same colours have been embroidered at the bottom. There is black embroidered trim on the two long sides. The end of the apron has a yellow and black fringe. Two laces in orange and green colours have been added to the top, so the apron can be tied around the waist.
