Tsukna – Woollen dress of the women’s traditional costume of Kavakli, Thrace (Eastern Rumelia region, present-day Bulgaria). The dress is black and has appliqued blue sleeves. Around the chest opening, the limaria, there are three rectangles with embroidered yellow, red, brown and black geometric decoration on a gold background. The edges of the sleeves are embellished with an embroidered green stripe. In addition, there is an embroidered band of white, green and yellow geometric decoration on the vertical axis. The edges of the additional white undersleeves are embroidered with decorative elements in the colours of the rainbow. The bottom of the dress is adorned with an embroidered band of green, red, yellow, pink and white vegetal decoration. Above, there is a white and red stripe. The hem consists of an appliqued piece of white fabric with colourful vegetal decoration and a thin black braid.
