Tsukna – Woollen dress of the women’s traditional costume of Kavakli, Thrace (Eastern Rumelia region, present-day Bulgaria). The dress is black and has appliqued blue sleeves. Around the chest opening, the limaria, there are three rectangles with embroidered yellow, red, blue and black decoration on a gold background. Red and white embroidery has been added to the edges of the sleeves and along the vertical axis, while the edges of the additional white undersleeves have embroidered azure, yellow and red vegetal decoration. The bottom of the dress is adorned with an embroidered band of blue, green, red and yellow vegetal decoration. Above, there is a white and yellow stripe. The hem consists of an appliqued piece of white fabric with colourful vegetal decoration and a thin red braid.
