Tsukna – Woollen dress of the women’s traditional costume of Kavakli, Thrace (Eastern Rumelia region, present-day Bulgaria). The dress is black and sleeveless. Around the chest opening, the limaria, there are three rectangles with embroidered yellow, red, blue and azure geometric decoration on a gold background. The hem is embellished with vertical rectangles from appliqued pieces of orange, white and white-red plaid fabric, with white and grey borders. Green, red, purple, pink, blue and yellow vegetal motifs have been embroidered below, followed by thin red trim.
