Apron of the women’s traditional costume of Metaxades, Thrace. The fabric is black and has woven yellow and brown speckled decoration. The bottom is embellished with appliqued green and red fabric strips and an embroidered yellow broken stripe. White decorative lace is sewn around three sides and between the colourful ribbons. Two laces in white, red and blue colours have been added to the top, so the apron can be tied around the waist.
