Apron of the women’s traditional costume of Metaxades, Thrace. Green and red fabric strips, as well as yellow lace, have been sewn at the bottom of the crimson fabric. Five embroidered horizontal stripes of the same colour as the apron complete the decoration. On three sides, the apron is embellished with appliqued white decorative lace. A ribbon made of the same fabric as the apron has been stitched at the top, with two laces in orange and blue emerging from it, so it can be tied around the waist.
