Apron of the women’s traditional costume of Metaxades, Thrace. Two ribbons with vegetal motifs in red, white, blue, green and pink have been sewn on the crimson fabric. Between them are one black and two blue fabric strips, two pieces of white lace, one embroidered green stripe and another in silver. The apron is embellished with appliqued white decorative lace around three sides. A ribbon made of the same fabric as the apron has been stitched at the top, so it can be tied around the waist.
