Woollen belt of the women’s traditional costume of Kavakli, Thrace (Eastern Rumelia region, present-day Bulgaria). It is embellished with woven vertical wide and narrow stripes in brown, blue, pink, green, orange, black, red and white colours. The belts were woven on the loom and tied around the waist over the dress (tsukna).
