Azure handkerchief of the women’s traditional costume from Alexandreia (Roumlouki), Imathia, with a blue sayias. It has stitching of the same colour around the perimeter. Originally, it was most likely used to clean the hands, or the mouth and nose area. Today, it is used by dancers of cultural associations while dancing.
