White cotton overcoat (sayias) of the women’s traditional costume from Alexandreia (Roumlouki), Imathia. The neckline is round and deep, reaching down to the sternum, where it is tied with a white ribbon. The two front panels are folded and secured on the back of the waist. The corners are embroidered with green, red, yellow, blue and purple vegetal decoration.
