Sleeveless blue woollen dress of the women’s traditional costume of Metaxades, Thrace. The neck opening is square-shaped, and the chest has two vertical openings, the korfulithres, which made breastfeeding easier. Around the chest opening, there is yellow embroidery with two tangential triangles at the bottom and red filling at the point of contact. At the same height on the back, there is similar embroidery, but the two triangles are formed in the corners of the rectangle. The end of the dress is embellished with a colourful embroidered stripe with small decorative elements and thin red braid.
