Saltamarka – Short woollen vest with gold embroidery, part of the traditional bridal costume from Naoussa. It is embellished with gold cord on the stand-up collar, the vertical front opening, around the waist and on the edges of the sleeves. The cord is followed by embroidered gold triangular motifs. The collar is entirely covered with embroidered gold vegetal motifs. An embroidered gold vegetal motif has been added to each of the two front corners. On the inside, the saltamarka is lined with white fabric, except for the collar and two strips on the opening where the lining is deep red.
