Cretan knife donated to the Lykeion ton Ellinidon of Naoussa as a keepsake. The knife’s scabbard is made of metal decorated with a vegetal motif and ends in a paisley. On one side, between the vegetal motifs, there are relief representations of a double axe and a Cretan wild goat, and, on the other, a representation of the Minoan “Prince of the Lilies” fresco and a man in the traditional Cretan costume. Above the end, on one side, is the embossed inscription “CRETAN SOUVENIR”. Three coins with a chain hang from the sheath. The hilt is Y-shaped and made of white plastic that gives the impression of real bone. On the flat sides, there is a band with wavy black patterns.
