Leather belt with buckle of the women’s traditional costume of Thrace (Sarakatsana costume?). Donated to the Lykeion ton Ellinidon of Naoussa as a keepsake. The belt is made of black leather and has decorative studs. On one side there is a bronze ornament. There is yellow cord around the perimeter. The central long surface of the buckle includes a rosette in the centre, surrounded by two large palmettes. The paisley-shaped surfaces are decorated with vegetal motifs in the centre. They have leaf-shaped ends around the circumference, while the corner creates a type of palmette.
